Collection: Robert Zemeckis

Robert Zemeckis was born in 1951 in Chicago, Illinois. Known for his pioneering use of special effects, Zemeckis directed "Back to the Future" trilogy (1985-1990) and "Forrest Gump" (1994), which won six Academy Awards including Best Director. The inspiration for "Back to the Future" came when his collaborator Bob Gale discovered his father's high school yearbook and wondered if he would have been friends with his dad as a teenager.
